Jennifer Heron

I have been passionate about performing from a young age, starting dance lessons when I was just 9 years old, and getting involved in my local ameteur dramatics group at the age of 11.

 

I gained grade 8 singing at the age of 18 and have studied ballet, tap, modern and contemporary dance.

 

I graduated from Cumbria Institute of the Arts with a BA (Hons) Performing Arts degree and I have a Diploma in Screen Acting from The International School of Screen Acting, London.

 

I have been teaching drama, dance, music and singing for over 15 years, in which time I have worked on several productions as both, Music Director and Choreographer. 

 

My students have been successful in both I.D.T.A. Musical Theatre and L.C.M. Singing exams with a 100% pass rate. I have also coached monologues for successful National Youth Theatre students.

 

As a performer I have appeared in lots of dance, drama, short film and musical theatre productions and I continue to perform whenever I get the chance!
